Camtasia bukan lagi menjadi software baru bagi para editor video, pelajar, dan bahkan para youtuber. Software editing video yang dikembangkan oleh TechSmith ini memang telah populer untuk membuat berbagai macam video tutorial, mengingat fitur unggulannya yang memang ditujukan untuk pembuatan video berbasis screen recording. There are some format of video you can save with Camtasia Studio 8, such as AVI, MP4, MOV, WMV, and SWF.  You can also save your video in MPG or MPG2 format, but it may have an error within.

Here are some steps to make a video with Camtasia Studio 8:

1.       You will need to download the Camtasia Studio 8 first and install the application on your computer/laptop to use it.

2.       If you already installed the Camtasia Studio 8, then open it. After it is opened, click Import Media (Browse the location of your video), then click open.

3.       The video you choose before will be imported to the clip bin, drag it to the track timeline further.

4.       You can also add a background with an image in JPG or PNG format (you can make it with another applocation). If you want to make it easier, you can just click the Title Clip in the Library.

5.       When you are done, once again, click Import Media and search for the background you need. Then click Open.

6.       Now you can simply use the background before as a break between the video. For example, you can make place it every 20 seconds and so on. However, keep it in mind to make it simple but fine.

7.       If you want to add some text, you can use the Callouts feature, which is one of the prime feature of Camtasia Studio.

8.       You can also add Transitions between every clips of your video to make it more interesting.

9.       Furthermore, Zoom-n-Pan feature will make a clear vision of everything you done in a close up view. It will help you a lot when you want to see your video in details.

10.   Last but not least, add some background audio to make your video more interesting. You can simply use the Audio feature to do it. Keep it in mind that you can also use background Themes and Music in the Library as an option.
